Ubuntu Positive Youth Development (PYD) Framework

CODI’s Ubuntu PYD framework is built on the South African philosophy of Ubuntu, which emphasizes that “I am because we are.” This approach recognizes that individual and community development go hand-in-hand. By fostering a mindset of interdependence, the Ubuntu PYD framework nurtures both personal and collective resilience.

Our framework doesn’t only build capacity but instills the values and skills that help youth contribute to South Africa’s progress toward the SDGs.
